livelihood design

bamboo community // design // development
These products are designed at Mundangamattam, Kaladi, Kerala for design intervention workshop organised by CARD, funded by DC(H).
These designs are provided, and supervised to prototype to the communities working extensively with bamboo mat, for diversifying their product range.
Various federations were involved in the design workshop, but later have got themselves involved into various techniques as their USP, and have quite successfully formed the working process flow for specific product production.
Working with such a system is an interesting challenge, so as to keep all levels involved, balanced.
